Extended Network Test was built by a system administrator for system administrators. We believe that a network utility should do exactly what it says: test a network. It should not be a vehicle for surveillance, data harvesting, or tracking.

Extended Network Test Privacy Policy

A plain-English explanation of what the app does not collect, because apparently that still has to be said out loud on the modern internet.

1. Our Privacy Philosophy

Extended Network Test was built by a system administrator for system administrators. We believe that a network utility should do exactly what it says: test a network. It should not be a vehicle for surveillance, data harvesting, or tracking. We have a Zero-Collection Policy.

2. No Data Collection

Personal Information: Extended Network Test does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical locations.
Network Targets: We do not log or transmit the URLs or IP addresses you enter into the app to any central server owned by Globex Industries.
Usage Logs: We do not track how often you use the app, which features you use, or the duration of your throughput tests.

3. No Third-Party Analytics

Total Isolation: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or any other third-party telemetry tools.
No "Phoning Home": The only network traffic generated by this app is the direct request from your device to the target URL you explicitly provide.

4. No Advertising & No Tracking

Ad-Free Experience: Extended Network Test is 100% free of advertisements.
No Advertisers: We do not work with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing firms.
No IDFA: We do not access the "Identifier for Advertisers" (IDFA) on your device.

5. Data in Transit (Your Responsibility)

Because this is a network diagnostic tool, the app creates raw traffic between your device and your chosen target.

Server Logs: Be aware that the destination server (e.g., your own Nginx/Apache lab or a public file host) will see your device's IP address in its standard server access logs as a requirement of the TCP/IP protocol.
ISP/Admin Monitoring: Your Internet Service Provider or Network Administrator will see the volume of data being moved.

6. Apple TestFlight & Crash Reports

When using the Beta version of this app via TestFlight, Apple may collect system-level crash reports and basic device information (OS version/Device Model) to help us improve the app. This is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to the TestFlight Terms of Service.
